Once the Great Temple of the Cat Goddess Bastet was considered the most beautiful temple in all of Egypt. Sadly it is now in ruins and in danger of disappearing forever. But you can help change that! Please help before it is too late! Unlike Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt gets rain in the Winter, and it is slowly eating away the frescos. We are desperate to save this temple before it is gone forever. 

This is the well where, tradition states the Holy Family stopped to drink. It is considered a holy place and has become a holy site for Christians from all over the world.. The Co-Director had a vision of a child laughing and playing with kittens at this well before she heard this story! It is her belief that the priestesses of Bastet recognized the holy mother and child..
